  • Tahnee’s current research examines polycentric governance structures in the Arctic and the possibility of scaling up their salient characteristics to similar cases in global environmental governance.

Background

Her other research interests include multiculturalism and the rise of the new far Right in Europe, as well as the concept of “statelessness” in global governance.

Tahnee graduated with distinction from Franklin College Switzerland, an American university in Lugano, Switzerland in the spring of 2010 with a BA in International Relations with minors in Economics and Germanic Studies. During her undergraduate degree, she traveled extensively and spent a year as a visiting scholar at the University of Helsinki. Her undergraduate thesis focused on the role of geography and diplomacy in the Finno-Soviet Winter War.
