Ange Fangeat holds an MA degree from Western University and a BA from King’s University College, which is also part of Western. She completed a Master of Arts in Political Science in July 2019 after completing her BA the year before. During her academic career at King’s she achieved the Dean’s Honour Roll through the final two years of her degree.
During her MA, she wrote a major research paper supervised by Dr. Adam Harmes researching the feasibility of alternative food systems to help address global food insecurity. She hopes to continue this research while at Balsillie as there are many more aspects of global agriculture to uncover. Her interest in food security began at King’s and was heightened during an experiential learning trip to Paris, Brussels, and Geneva. Hoping to conduct research for a class paper, visiting international organizations allowed her to have unique insight into the topic, and revealed the importance of continuing to study the issue.
Ange works as a research assistant and enjoys spending time with her dog Sunny in her spare time.
