This August, the Balsillie School of International Affairs is offering a 4-week non-credit professional development course. The Foundations in International Public Policy (FIPP) will integrate economics, statistics and political science concepts in an interdisciplinary, intensive and interactive program using international examples of policy conundrums to showcase necessary technical and conceptual tools that are relevant to understanding complex global policy problems. The FIPP acts as a stand-alone professionalization certificate-based program for policy practitioners in government or non-governmental organizations. The FIPP also offers a pathway for students and professionals interested in applying for Laurier’s Masters of International Public Policy (MIPP).
The course is a full-time program of study for four weeks - August 2nd to 30th - and will have limited enrollment. The fee for the course is $1,400 CAD.
Applications are due to Kelly Brown ([email protected]) by the end of day on June 23, 2017.
Successful applicants will be notified by June 30.
Fees (either paid by cheque or etransfer) will be due July 15.
