Johanna Wilkes holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in Food, Agriculture and Resource Economics. She spent years studying the interactions between international public policy, development and agriculture.

In addition to her background in food and resource economics, Johanna holds a certificate in Agricultural Leadership Development and a Masters in International Public Policy.

Johanna served as a member of the policy team to the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs for three years. She also spent a year with the Minister of Infrastructure’s office working with community leaders across Ontario.

From environmental policy to social reform, Johanna believes we have a lot of opportunity to make real change in the world. She looks forward to focusing on research that reflect the issues surrounding climate change, agriculture and sustainable systems.
