Maria Almhana hold a bachelor degree in accounting from the faculty of economic, University of Damascus, and a certificate in project management form Axelos, United Kingdom.

She worked for 10 years (2005-2015) as principal administrator and Brand Manager at Ford dealership, Damascus, Syria, where she was managing sales for the whole the country.

Maria was an active player during the Syrian Crisis. She served as a volunteer within several social justice and humanitarian organizations in Syria, mainly in Terre Des Hommes and Junior Chamber International (JCI). She provided support to internally displaced persons, vulnerable women and children. Also, She was handling several JCI-Damascus projects and activities.
