Paul Timah

Paul Timah is a Cameroonian who has had the “luxury” to experience life in Sweden, Mauritania, Ethiopia and Canada through studies, work and immigration.

He has over a decade of experience in business management and has developed a very multi-cultural mindset as a result of his lived experiences in three continents (Africa, Europe and North America). Given his lived experiences across these continents, he has come to understand and have a good feel of some of the most pressing issues and challenges that people face across the globe and this only heightened his childhood desire to get into the international policy development field where he feels he could be part of the solution to the national/global problems and challenges, by contributing to the design, formulation and implementation of sound policies aimed at addressing these national/global problems and challenges.

He is very passionate about democracy, good governance, human rights, politics, immigration, human security, racial equality and international trade and looks forward to honing his skills and contributing to research in these areas during his time at Balsillie.
