Rebecca Cameron St-Pierre

Rebecca Cameron St-Pierre is a graduate student in the University of Waterloo Master of Arts Global Governance Program at the Balsillie School of International Affairs. Prior to her enrolment in this program Rebecca received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of Waterloo as well as a graduate certificate in Human Resource Management at Conestoga College. Rebecca has also engaged in post-degree studies at Wilfrid Laurier University
where she was awarded the 2019 TSHEPO Nelson Mandela Academic Excellence Award for Social Justice and Development.

Before recommencing her studies at Wilfrid Laurier, Rebecca was engaged in a variety of roles in the non-profit sector working primarily with organizations focused on community-building, including time working in refugee support. As a team lead, board member and acting executive director Rebecca was responsible for wide array of tasks including: volunteer coordination, fundraising, legal compliance/support and communication.

Rebecca’s research interests center around civil society actors and corporate partnerships for service delivery in the context of international development projects as well as healthcare access for women and children primarily in the global south.
