Background
James is currently affiliated with the Asian Institute in the Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto and is a member of the executive of the Toronto Branch of the Canadian International Council. He currently teaches at York University and has lectured at the Canadian Forces College. He has previously worked at Flinders University in the School of Political and International Studies where he taught peace and conflict studies, international political economy, Australian foreign policy, strategic studies and Chinese foreign policy.
