Janos Pasztor

Janos Pasztor is the Executive Director of the Carnegie Climate Governance Initiative (C2G), former UN Assistant Secretary General for Climate Change and former Acting Executive Director (Conservation) for WWF International.

Discussion will focus on the role that climate-altering technologies can play in mitigating climate change, and how such approaches might facilitate the transition toward interlinked, all-government, Earth-systems governance. Context for the discussion and C2G’s activities can be found in their Beginners’ guide & Approach Paper.

Discussant: Juan Moreno-Cruz, Associate Professor and Canada Research Chair, School of Environment, Enterprise and Development, University of Waterloo.
