Mackenzie Cassels holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Studies from Thompson Rivers University. Her academic background combined studies in American history, international politics, and global development.
Mackenzie has applied her coursework to professional roles with Save the Children – Philippines, the Kamloops Food Bank, Thompson Rivers University, and the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Working within these organizations fostered a passion for educational policy development and food security research.
Throughout the MAGG program, Mackenzie aims to broaden her understanding of the complex relationship between government policy and education. She is excited to bring the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the program to her career in international educational policy development.
